A little about me

I’m Mike

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but grew up in Missouri. I served 7 years in the U.S. Army, including a tour to Iraq. I have 3 daughters, a beautiful wife, and two dogs which rarely bark at anything useful.

Relationship with sports

I grew up skateboarding and inline skating, but have always had an affinity for just about any sport. From basketball, to snowboarding - I find myself attracted to people doing amazing things in the pursuit of winning (and reaching new milestones).

Photography

I began taking photos at a young age, before digital cameras were a thing! I continued shooting photos while in the U.S. Army and stationed in Hawaii, and rekindled my love of it after moving to Georgia from Tampa, Florida in 2024.

My faith

Not only am I a photographer, I am also a Christian. My faith plays a central role in how I see the world and approach my work. It guides my values, encourages gratitude, and reminds me to serve others well through honesty, humility, and purpose in everything I do.
